Listen:
I still try to set aside 30 minutes to read, so when I squeeze in one whole hour I really enjoy a solid techno mix. Terr does the job for her Hyp mix.

Read:
The first half of Dan Lyon's Disrupted makes it one of favorite reads of the year. It's a Trojan horse memoir that dissects the business and ethics of tech startups. If only the last bit of the book ended sooner, it would be one of favorite books of the year. So if you like Silicon Valley comedy show, then you'll dig this book.

Watch:
Stumbling on "hidden" web gems is the digital equivalent of finding a book you didn't know you wanted to read in a library or a store - the National Comedy Center released this video featuring Regis Philbin chatting with some of the behind the scenes folks at Letterman.

The hype (in a good way) to Chance The Rapper's new project must be thrilling to see in person..will be a major day when it drops. Not technically out, so recheck his back catalog.

Read:
Getting nerdy about editing and one essential book is In the Blink of the Eye by Walter Murch. Great analogies and insight.

Watch:
TV season is heading into summer break. However, Anthony Bourdain and his team did roll out a new season of Parts Unknown. The letter scene in the Manila, Philippines episode had me in tears. Episode 2 takes place in Chicago. So expecting good things from this season.

Read:
Been awhile since I've read through some non-fiction crime. I found The Midnight Assassin by Skip Hollandsworth to be a bit more on point instead of the sprawling Devil and The White City.

Watch:
I eagerly await nearly everything Richard Linklater releases. He's one of those auteurs that makes highly enjoyable movies that you can re-visit. His latest effort Everybody Wants Some makes sense as the spiritual sequel to Dazed and Confused. As a supplement, check out his appearances on WTF with Marc Maron. April 4, 2016 and January 8, 2015.

Always digging Resident Advisor's podcast, however since the 500th episode been slipping because the mixes clocked in over 90 minutes. Whenever artists put out mixes of all their own tracks, it's basically an album release. So check out Keita Sano's mix.

Read:
Philosophy books - I dreaded them in college, but digging the occasional ones I pick up. Tim Ferriss keeps mentioning stoic writers, so I checked out Marcus Aurelius - Meditations.

Watch:
The spy/conspiracy genre is always fun no matter how bad. So when it's good, then it's as sweet as ice cream..The Night Manager - so so good.
