Listen:
Gantz Boiler Room debut.
Read:
Aziz Ansari’s NYT piece hits all good points.
The Sixth Extinction: An Unnatural History by Elizabeth Kolbert - fitting that I wrapped this up when visiting friends in Chicago and toured the Field Museum.
Also, loved In the Heart of the Sea: the Tragedy of the Whaleship Essex by Nathaniel Philbrick. The movie trailer is very misleading, unless I missed the whole lost at sea/cannibalism bit.
Watch:
A couple of weeks ago, I binge-watched Flesh and Bone. Dark and twisted.
Pacing myself through Master of None and Jessica Jones. For snobbery points, I do have the Alias comics back at my parents home. I also heard some teens at a coffee shop on a date say they didn’t like Master of None because “it’s about some twenty-year olds.” During that date, the guy pulled up some video on his cellphone, which apparently was hilarious. Modern love.
