One Week at KRUA 88.1FM Anchorage - Back in 2006: finally went through a shoe box of old air checks of my radio show, Push Play. Looking for productions of a fellow radiohead that passed away. Decided to compile a bunch of the promos found during the breaks. Good times with these kids.

Can't hate the greatest hits collection, specially when it comes to selected writings. Music in the Air by Ralph Gleason covers an exciting part of American culture. From jazz to hippies, politics and my favorite - comedy.
Watch:
Binged Orange is the New Black season 4. (Spoiler) Film/TV New York moments always fun to watch. Reality can be stranger than fiction. Couple of my trips felt that way.

Maggie Roger's Alaska hits all the right notes, but watching Pharrell listen to the song makes you dig it even more.

Really biased when it comes to Doug Stanhope, for good reason, but killed his book in nearly a week thanks to taking to train ride to Chicago. Those things take forever, so if you can't read half a book in one sitting, then you got problems. Lots of comedy gems. Any other writer, it could be depressing. But Stanhope finds the hope in despair.

Only bad thing about Chef's Table season 2 is that as soon as you run out, you crave even more.

Currently, digging through Doug Stanhope's memoir, but in case you need more convincing, then listen to his appearance on WTF or Doug's own podcast.

A good screenplay can be just as entertaining in a much different than a novel - key difference, it's meant to come to life. Despite being a very notable author, James Baldwin's One Day When I Was Lost kind of misses the mark. My brief theory is with a decent script - it's all about brevity.

My favorite joint from Chance the Rapper's third album (mixtape) is "We don't do the same drugs" that's the one that's been on repeat.
Other summer jam digging a lot is JT's Can't Stop the Feeling.

The pilot episode of Preacher has lots of potential - well enjoy the twisted comic come to life in a TV series.

Outdoor adventure books can be thrilling because you know there's doom on the way. Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer is gripping all the whole way through. It's very understandable why it's an instant classic.

Really having fun making short edits. Much different pace than snapping photos. It's such a simple way to combine a bunch of photos/videos, instead of a pic dump. Here's one I did for fun for work and daytrip to Detroit.
